Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Fighting Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Fire Fighting Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining fire protection systems in buildings and facilities. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure compliance with local fire codes and regulations. Additionally, you will conduct inspections and tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of fire protection systems.


Responsibilities:

  1. Design and engineer fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, fire alarms, and fire suppression systems.
  2. Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate fire protection systems into building plans and designs.
  3. Ensure compliance with local fire codes and regulations.
  4. Prepare technical specifications and drawings for fire protection systems.
  5. Coordinate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of fire protection systems.
  6. Conduct inspections and tests on fire protection systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
  7. Maintain and repair fire protection systems as needed.
  8. Provide training and guidance to building occupants on fire safety procedures.
  9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in fire protection technology and industry best practices.
  10. Collaborate with insurance companies and regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.

Skills

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
  2. Minimum 1-5 years of experience in designing and installing fire protection systems.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  4. Strong knowledge of local fire codes and regulations.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  9. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  10. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.
