Job Description
you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure that HVAC systems meet the specific requirements of each project. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting HVAC system issues and providing technical support to clients. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC principles, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Designing HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Calculating heating and cooling loads to determine the appropriate size and capacity of HVAC equipment
- Preparing and reviewing HVAC system drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinating with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that HVAC systems are integrated seamlessly into building designs
- Installing and commissioning HVAC equipment, including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and ductwork
- Performing regular maintenance and inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC system issues, and implementing repairs as needed
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients regarding HVAC system operation and maintenance
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology
Skills
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC engineering and a maximum of 5 years of experience. As an HVAC Engineer:
- Proficient in HVAC design software and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of HVAC principles and systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 1-5 years of experience in HVAC engineering
- Proficiency in HVAC design software and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of HVAC principles and systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Valid driver's license
