Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Application Developer to join our team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. As an Oracle Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Oracle applications to meet the needs of our organization. You will work closely with our business analysts and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and implement Oracle applications using Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL.
  2. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test scripts, and user manuals.
  3. Collaborate with business analysts and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
  4. Perform unit testing and debugging of Oracle applications to ensure they meet quality standards.
  5. Identify and resolve performance issues, system bugs, and data inconsistencies.
  6. Participate in code and design reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.
  7. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing any issues or questions related to Oracle applications.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as an Oracle Application Developer, preferably in a similar industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL.
  4. Experience with Oracle Database and SQL performance tuning.
  5. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  9. Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  10. Oracle certifications (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional) is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL/SQL REST APEX Java Java script XML CSS HTML
  • Experience with Oracle Database and SQL performance tuning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
