Job Description

As an MBA Summer Intern within our Strategy & Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our international market expansion. You will take part in our regulatory and compliance efforts to file for relevant licenses to operate corporate cards programs across Africa.
You will work closely with our team to navigate the complex landscape of financial regulations in various African jurisdictions, identify and prioritise markets and prepare the relevant applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyse financial regulations and licensing requirements in target African countries.
• Assist in preparing and filing applications for licenses, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as necessary.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an MBA or recent graduate from a top-tier business school.

3+ years of experience in management consulting (MBB), preferably with a focus on banking, financial services, compliance, or regulatory affairs.

Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.

Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other languages spoken across Africa is a plus.

Passion for financial inclusion and driving positive impact across African communities.
