Graphic Designer

TITLE:  SENIOR  GRAPHIC DESIGNER (6 month contract) 

Client side secondment based in Abu Dhabi.

We are looking for a Graphic designer to join us client side to assist in the creative development and execution of a wide range of graphic design needs supporting the Communications team. The ideal candidate will have a strong visual design background, experience in creating compelling design output for various media, and a passion for storytelling through visual content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Conceptualise, develop and execute innovative design solutions for print, digital and social media that align with our brand identity and communication strategy
• Collaborate with the Marketing and PR & communications team to conceptualize and implement design concepts for brand communication, internal comms, social media content, MICE and consumer events marketing tools, CSR activations etc. 
• Create report presentations, dashboards for internal reporting and department presentations 
• Work closely with the destination management team to ensure that all visual materials reflect the unique attributes of our attractions and facilities
• Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, adhering to deadlines and quality expectations 
• Assist in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive visual asset library, including photography, graphics, and brand elements
• Provide creative support for internal communications, including the design of newsletters, intranet content, and employee engagement initiatives
• Be aware of graphic design trends and incorporate new techniques as appropriate to keep  branded comms fresh and engaging 
• Collaborate with external agencies and vendors as needed to ensure consistency and quality of brand executions through various channels

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related discipline 
• Minimum of 3 years of professional design experience, preferably in an in-house creative department or design agency
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, lnDesign) and a proven understanding of design principles
• Experience with digital content creation, including web design and social media graphics, Motion graphics or animation skills a plus
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, including both print and digital design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
• Ability to manage time effectively, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines 
• Knowledge of the latest trends and the ability to apply them to applicable target audiences
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads and willingness to support the team during high-pressure situations
