Job Description



Job Scope:



Responsible for developing new shows and projects across the different properties. Works with Entertainment teams and interdepartmental partners as an active participant, guaranteeing high performance and production values for entertainment offerings. Provides management and operational coverage at entertainment events and shows/venues as requested. Leads and executes special entertainment events, including marquee and seasonal celebrations, corporate functions, birthday parties, team buildings, and other events the company promotes. Develops show and event production management systems and distributes reports. Maintains a shared portfolio of vendors and suppliers with the parks and Entertainment Projects Manager. Works with the teams to create and update entertainment asset inventories. Manages and maintains entertainment-owned event assets in each required facility, ensuring tidiness of warehouse, green rooms, and other back-of-house Entertainment spaces. Ensures entertainment storage areas are maintained, kept clean, and organized and that assets are appropriately labeled and accounted for at inventory levels. Financial responsibilities include creating project budgets, procuring and purchasing, tracking and reporting observed company policies, and delegating authority. Organizes and runs production meetings, debriefs, and other meetings as required by internal and external. Works hand in hand with Marketing to ensure strategic, tactical, and core activations align with business objectives and KPI targets. Assembles project/event production books and documentation for both working us historical archives. Creates installation, de-rig, and event run schedules as requested and maintains schedules, updating them and stakeholders when changes occur. Supports production and events rehearsals as needed. Oversees installation, execution and de-rig of shows/events, including hands-on work as required. Takes part in coaching and counseling matters and provides guidance and mentorship to Entertainment colleagues to assist in developing bench strength and succession plans. I'd like you to please act as entertainment manager on duty as requested. Compile periodic rate competitiveness and comparisons · Offer input into event improvements: effectiveness and efficiencies. To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

Essential



Bachelor’s Degree in the arts, technical theater disciplines Over seven years in theme park entertainment, events, or large-scale productions. Working knowledge of industry safety standards and codes, industry trends, and vendors. Ability to read blueprints and related construction/design documents. Leadership skills, computer skills, proficiency in English. Ability to call events and shows; report creation and distribution; create and execute schedules; develop show/events manuals.

Desirable



Ten years of experience in the entertainment and theme park industry Three years of recent experience working client-side in the events industry. Stage management experience; lighting, sound, and projection programming; winch operation; rigging; video editing; music knowledge; project management.
The Events and Production Director is responsible for design, development and execution of new projects as well as creation and delivery of new and existing events across Farah’s properties; is responsible for planning and executing production of new shows and developments, seasonal and special functions; and provision of support across daily entertainment offerings as needed. The Events and Production Director works with the team as an active participant in achieving artistic goals, ensuring consistent quality, sharing knowledge with the team, leading and supporting production and execution of shows/events while maintaining a positive attitude in the workplace, guaranteeing high standards in the delivery of all offerings and preserving production and execution values across the parks. The Entertainment Creative Manager will use their past live entertainment experience in both creating and maintaining show content as well as sourcing, securing, and developing talent for both ongoing entertainment venues as well as special events. The Entertainment Creative Manager works with the team as an active participant in achieving artistic goals, ensuring consistent quality, sharing knowledge with the team, leading and supporting production and execution of shows/events while maintaining a positive attitude in the workplace, guaranteeing high standards in the delivery of all offerings and preserving production and execution values across the parks. The position also manages the Tour Guide team scheduling, tour updates and training, and content to be managed and updated on Multimedia devices. For events, the position supports the execution and delivery of corporate events, entertainment, and show production strategies; is responsible for planning and executing seasonal special events; and provides support across daily entertainment offerings as needed. The role works with stakeholders such as the sales team and the entertainment department as an active participant in achieving goals, ensuring consistent quality, sharing knowledge with the team, leading and supporting the production and execution of events while maintaining a positive attitude in the workplace, guaranteeing high standards in the delivery of all operations and offerings, and preserving values.
