About The Role

As a Professional Services Engineer (PSE) at Picus Security, you'll be the linchpin in our customer engagement efforts, providing essential installation, migration, training, and advisory services. This role demands a blend of technical prowess and customer-facing skills, enabling our clients to maximize the value of Picus Security solutions. You'll collaborate closely with our Customer Success and Enterprise Sales teams to tailor our offerings to customer needs, fostering enduring relationships and driving customer success.

What You'll Do


  • Customer Engagement and Solution Development:
  • Forge and nurture relationships with key technical decision-makers and business influencers across our clientele, from IT staff to C-suite executives.
  • Understand customer requirements in-depth to tailor Picus Security solutions effectively, enhancing business value and customer satisfaction.
  • Project and Technical Leadership:
  • Lead the development and execution of project plans, solution requirements, and estimates for service delivery, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and Picus Security standards.
  • Install, configure, and optimize Picus Security Platform, adhering to best practices and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Education and Enablement:
  • Conduct comprehensive technical training sessions for clients, empowering them to leverage Picus Security solutions effectively.
  • Drive technical onboarding and continuous engagement initiatives, increasing customer proficiency, satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Collaboration and Innovation:
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, sales, marketing, and support teams to develop market-driven solutions and services that resonate with our target audience.
  • Actively contribute to the enhancement of professional service processes, standards, and documentation.

What You Have


  • Proven experience in a similar role within the technology or cybersecurity industry
  • Strong technical foundation with the ability to install, configure, and optimize complex software solutions
  • Working technical knowledge of security technologies across multiple domains (e.g., Firewall, Network IPS, SIEM, DLP, Cloud Security) and familiarity with security concepts and products (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, McAfee, Symantec) and the security marketplace
  • Professional security-related qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC, or equivalent are highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A track record of successful project management and customer service
  • A self-motivated, adaptable professional with a knack for navigating fast-paced environments
  • Adept at building and maintaining strong professional relationships
  • Willing and able to travel to customer sites as needed
