Coordination, preparation and support with the execution of breeding programs and phenotypic data collection.

Key accountabilities
1. Preparation of the seed lots necessary for the breeding/screening trials for both local sowing programs and international shipments, including all required administrative activities.
2. Assistance in sowing, monitoring germination after sowing, pricking out and planting. Ensure sufficient staffing for the execution of crossing programs in cooperation with Teamleads R&D Operations and RDT.
3. Execution of crossing programs and related activities on the instructions of the (Assistant) Breeder.
4. Secure right harvesting moments for crossings, according to a plan defined by the Breeder.
5. Phenotypic data collection in breeding and screening programs according to the instructions of the (Assistant) Breeder. Data collection on harvested fruits, including seed related traits.
6. Coordination and preparation of seed lots for special projects in cooperation with Breeders and/or Research team.
7. Administration of the routine processes in designated electronic systems.
8. Receipt and administration of the seeds of selected plants, and ensure storage in the seed vault.
9. Execution of routine disease monitoring including track and trace based on instructions of the Breeder.

Required certifications, knowledge and skills
* Ability to work with breeding administration software
* Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
* Computer skills
* Basic profiency in the English language, both written and verbal

* Working in conditioned climate/high temperatures
* Working outside in different weather conditions
* Includes repetitive and methodical work
* Occasionally works outside Enza Zaden location
