Summary
ENOWA is looking for a Senior Executive Director with an extensive background in corporate affairs to
- Stakeholder Management: Provide insights on NEOM internal and external stakeholder perceptions and interact & manage these stakeholders, including KSA authorities and the KSA energy and water ecosystem, to enable ENOWA decision making, growth and performance
- Board Affairs: Engage with and manage relations with the ENOWA Board members directly and via the ENOWA Company Secretary
- Internal and External Communication: Identify and protect ENOWA from reputational risks and strengthen the ENOWA brand through internal and external communications; enable strong CEO communication on the company’s narrative and strategic priorities
- Corporate Services: Manage the ENOWA Marketing & Communication, Human Resources, Legal, and Government Affairs function
Position description and responsibilities
Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relations actively involving the ENOWA leadership team
- Systematically identify ENOWA’s stakeholders, analyse their needs and expectations and develop stakeholder engagement plans
- Plan and implement tasks and activities to engage with ENOWA stakeholders to achieve ENOWA’s objectives and facilitate decision making
Board Affairs
- Develop and maintain strong relations with the ENOWA Board members
- Engage with the ENOWA Board members to facilitate Board discussions and decision making and to further improve Board governance
Internal and External Communication
- Identify and protect ENOWA from reputational risks and strengthen the ENOWA brand through internal and external communications
- Enable strong CEO communication on the company’s narrative and strategic priorities
Corporate Services
Day-to-da manage the ENOWA Marketing & Communication, Human Resources, Legal, and Government Affairs functions, including:
Marketing and Communication
- Lead the ENOWA Marketing and Communication function ensuring planning, development and implementation of ENOWAs marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal
- Lead the development and implementation of the ENOWA Marketing & Communications plan
- Build brand awareness and positioning, manage press and public relations
- Oversee the Service Level Agreement with NEOM
Human Resources
- Lead the ENOWA HR function to ensure end-to-end ENOWA HR processes in cooperation with the NEOM Shared Service Center and NEOM HR
- Support ENOWA’s employee growth and develop & implement strategies for effective people management in the organization
- Oversee the Service Level Agreement with NEOM
Legal
- Lead the ENOWA Legal function to ensure best-in-class legal support and end-to-end ENOWA Legal processes in cooperation with NEOM Legal
- Lead legal matters and projects and the related documents, reviews and discussions
- Work effectively with outside counsel, serving as a primary internal liaison
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders to address legal issues and resolve them quickly and effectively and provide legal advice to the business team as needed
- Oversee the Service Level Agreement with NEOM
Government Affairs (GA)
- Manage all ENOWA Government Affairs-related activities in close cooperation with NEOM Government Affairs
- Oversee the Service Level Agreement with NEOM
Knowledge and Experience
- 20+ years’ experience in corporate functions such as corporate affairs, legal, human resource etc., including 10+ years in leadership roles
- Excellent networking and stakeholder management capabilities; strong network in the Kingdom, ideally in the energy or water ecosystem
- Ability to build effective working relations with multiple stakeholders, across organisations, with differing interests both inside and outside the ENOWA and NEOM organizations
- Strong business acumen with good understanding of the energy and water industries
- Superior interpersonal, team and communication skill as well as a focus on efficiency and effectiveness combined with a hands-on, can-do mentality
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams with strong ability to prioritize tasks in a highly dynamic environment
- Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills to monitor and handle multiple activities at the same, balance key priorities and meet challenging and changing deadlines
- Delivery mindset; high thoroughness and reliability; ability to deliver quality output
- High resilience, proactive problem-solving skills, and strong negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate well both written and verbally with top management and external audiences
- Middle East working experience required
