Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QS MEP Section Head/Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) section of our projects, ensuring cost control, budget management, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the MEP section of projects from inception to completion, including cost estimation, budgeting, and monitoring of expenses
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure that MEP designs meet project requirements and compliance standards
- Review and analyze project documents to determine scope of work, materials, and equipment needed for MEP systems
- Prepare and present cost estimates, proposals, and budgets to clients and stakeholders
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure that MEP work meets quality standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to procure materials and equipment needed for MEP systems
- Provide leadership and guidance to the MEP team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and conducting performance evaluations
