Procurement Specialist - Contract Manufacturing

Job Profile

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies for the contract manufacturing.
• Sourcing new Raw Material / Packaging Material for New product launches and share product costing to Marketing, commercial team.
• Evaluate & negotiate contracts with the Contract Manufacturers , negotiate prices for Raw and packing materials.
• Finalizing Quarterly pricing for the Raw materials and Finished Goods with contract manufacturers
• Ensure supply security and sustainability of sources
• Forecast Raw material and Packaging material price trends  and its impact on future activities
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Build and maintain healthy supplier relationships with the new and existing vendors.
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Analyzing procurement data, conducting spend analysis and preparing reports.
• Operational knowledge of SAP ERP system/MS office tools/ e-bidding tools.
• Knowledge of Chemicals and packaging materials and ability to gather market intelligence.
• Work closely with the legal department in drafting and executing the contracts with favorable terms and conditions.
• Co-ordinate between Contract manufacturers and Supply chain for Raw Material / Finished Goods availability.

Relevant experience -

• No of Years- 4-5 years
• Chemical/FMCG/Formulation /Contract manufacturing

Educational Attainment and Language preference-  

• Chemistry/Chemical graduate with Management degree/diploma
• Language proficiency- Knowledge of Arabic/French/English is a must.
