As an Entry-Level to Mid-Level Data Governance Practitioner, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog and Axon Data Governance. Your day-to-day activities will include analyzing data, creating data policies, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data governance best practices are followed.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Mid-Level Data Governance Practitioner, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog and Axon Data Governance. Your day-to-day activities will include analyzing data, creating data policies, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data governance best practices are followed.
Key Activities:
Manage the development Data Catalog and Data Governance Implementation
Analyze data, onboard and maintain metadata in Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog.
Utilize Informatica Axon & EDC to manage metadata and document data lineage.
Create and maintain data policies to ensure adherence to data governance best practices.
Implement policies and processes in Axon Data Governance
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data governance policies are followed.
Provide expert guidance on data governance and security to project teams.
To land this role, you should have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
5+ years of overall experience
Experience with at least one of listed platforms and modern data & analytics solutions –Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica, Collibra etc.
Experience with SCRUM, SAFE, Waterfall methodology
Ability to architect data solutions, applying concepts of data modelling, data validation, consolidation, data quality, data discovery and catalogue, data lineage.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases, structured and unstructured data, data pipelines, batch, near real-time and streaming.
Experience working in multinational environment and with complex landscapes.
Self-motivation, proactiveness and openness to changes.
Ability to make things happen and to keep deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure and manage unexpected situations.
Business oriented and results driven.
Good analytical skills.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Related certifications would be a plus.
Arabic as native language would be a plus
