BIM Engineer - Design

JASARA PMC is currently seeking a talented BIM Engineer to join our team as part of the Design department. As a BIM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design process and ensuring the successful implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies and workflows. Responsibilities



Oversee all Design Service provisions by appointed CONSULTANTs, including Technical Team Leadership and management of the Design Deliverables. Coordinate the efforts of all consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders associated with the project Review and investigate the design deliverables produced by the designer(s) to ensure that the design is buildable, constructible, and workable and that the design is free of errors or omissions. Review the different disciplines of the design deliverables to ensure their compatibility, integrity, coordination, and thoroughness. Issue formal review report(s) Hold design validation workshop(s) with the design consultant and provide recommendations report to conclude the workshop Review the estimated budget by the designer and recommend adjustment and possible cost saving options in the design, materials selection, and specification modification without impacting the constructability, or quality, or prolonging time for completion, or performance and confirm via written statement that the design is not biased to certain market products. Participate in Q/A workshop(s) in the tender phase and provide necessary responses as applicable. Liaise, assist and coordinate with the cost consultant / QS to in relation to elemental budgeting, BOQ production, tender documentation and the ongoing financial management and control of all elements related to the project. Closely coordinate with the Lead Consultant (“LC” hereafter) and the Architect of Record, (“AoR”, hereafter), and all other design consultant as may be necessary. Participate with design coordination & quality assurance management implemented by the LC and design consultancies Attend all meetings as required by the LCs / the First Party / design consultant in order to ensure a detailed knowledge with regard to all on-going matters that may affect project costs, and necessary for the proper execution of the works. Manage, administer, co-ordinate, conduct programme and monitor all activities (including without limitation the activities of the consultants, FIDIC engineers, quantity surveyor, operator’s, procurement, suppliers, utility providers, and statutory authorities associated with the design in order that the requirements and objectives of the First Party shall be met and in particular that the project is completed on time and within budget Monitor the design in conjunction with the design team to ensure that the First Party’s brief is maintained. establish communication, reporting and authorization procedures to operate between the First Party and LC / design consultants. Advise the First Party on the need to appoint consultant and in conjunction with the First Party and define the scope of services for each consultancy package. Advise the First Party in sufficient time to enable him to carry out his obligations under the consultancy agreements Inform the First Party in writing of anything the likely effect of which would be either to vary the project or to increase the cost of the project or change its quality or function; or to increase the time taken to complete the project and provide advice and recommendations in respect thereto.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, or a related field 10 Years of proven experience including 3 years’ experience on similar Projects with Middle East project experience.

Proficiency in reporting with PowerBI



Certification in ISO 19650 standards


Solid knowledge of BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams and resolving clashes Strong technical skills in generating detailed design documentation and drawings Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines* Knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction industry standards and regulations is a plus
