Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
- Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
- Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, forecasting, budgeting etc.
- Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
- Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.
- Generate financial reports and statements to Management for review.
- Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
- Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.
- Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting.
- Provide guidance to other Accountants when needed.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
- Able to prepare and submit monthly/yearly VAT and withholding tax return, and yearly Zakat return.
- Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
- Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
- Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
- Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
Skills
Requirements & Skills
Preference will be given to those candidates having past working experience in Accounting or Audit firm.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, any additions qualification will be considered.
Experience : Min 8-10 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting
- Relevant experience in audit and costing is advantageous.
- Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
- Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
- Able to work independently and highly meticulous.
- Preferably Arabic speaker
- Based in Saudi Arabia
- Ability to communicate fluently in Arabic/English language, both verbally and in writing.
