Co-Man QC Lead

Overview Pakistan Market is gearing up for diversification of portfolio and looking to expand volume in a cost-effective manner in a capacity constrained back drop. To add more capacity without heavy capital investment, Contract Manufacturing capabilities are being massively enhanced in Pakistan Market. In under 1 year the market has been able to identify and lock a Co-Man to service 1100Tons of an innovation and the projection of growth also looks healthy which will then result in identification, induction, and operations of more Co-Man in the future. Responsibilities 1. Perform regular sampling and testing of Co-Man products as per defined frequencies and coordinate with relevant team about information of product quality as well as required corrective actions to ensure product within specifications. 2. Ensure control of non-conforming materials through PepsiCo Hold and Release guidelines and coordinate the activity with Production as well as Supply Chain effectively to avoid dispatch of any out of specification product, perform verification testing and close all hold incidents as defined in Hold release procedure. 3. Perform calibrations of laboratory instruments in respective shift to ensure all testing are with confidence circle. 4. Ensure that product and packaging quality walls are being performed at defined intervals to ensure product is as per defined 5. consumer design. 6. Manage PepsiCo reference samples retention protocol and ensure availability of samples for any research or investigation purposes (root cause analysis of complaint handling etc.) 7. Perform data entries for Process and packaging weak link in respective shift in the defined system. 8. Perform control samples are testing (Moisture, Oil, Salt, FFA) on instruments to ensure instruments are within specs. 9. Work on ASHA and QAS requirement for Co Man and perform monthly audits to ensure requirements are met and work on opportunity area till rectification. 10. Provision monthly quality/laboratory related data to Quality and Laboratory specialist required for 3D quality scorecard. 11. Routine inspections of areas to ensure AIB standards to get good scores and to make sure Product is meeting the food safety standards. 12. Perform incoming material (pack and raw materials) inspection and reporting as per Pep requirements. 13. Responsible for the enforcement of Food Quality Systems (HACCP, ISO 22002 TS, GMP’s, etc.) 14. Consistent monitoring of food manufacturing facility procedures 15. Maintain records related to traceability (Raw materials, finished goods, packaging, etc.) 16. Reporting and documenting any quality and food safety issues 17. Assist in investigating customer complaints and help to resolve quality issues. 18. Assist in training and developing team members. 19. Prepares reports on each test preformed for measuring quality, quantity and composition. Qualifications Qualification/Skill Competencies · BS/MS degree in Food Technology/Chemistry/QM · Good knowledge of material testing and quality assessment · Knowledge of quality and food safety standards (preferably lead auditor) · Communication and Facilitation Skills · Efficient and comprehensive approach · Problem Solving skills · Collaboration and influencing skills · Teamwork · Drive for results · Must have thorough technical skills in product development,process control , specifications,regulatory standards, GMP ,HACCP, QMS and Food safety requirements. · SPC and root cause analysis skills are very critical in process management and continues improvement.
