Markaz is on the mission to supercharge the rails of e-commerce for the common man in Pakistan. We want to empower the Pakistani middle class, with a special focus on women who are currently not part of the Pakistani financial ecosystem, and help establish hundreds of thousands of new online entrepreneurs in the coming years. We enable anyone in Pakistan to start their online business with zero investment from the comfort of their home and make money by selling products through different social media channels like WhatsApp and Facebook. All they have to do is download the Markaz app, get access to 1,000s of products, share them on their social media with a profit margin and get orders. Markaz will take care of everything else: delivery, payments, customer experience and profit dissemination.

Job Overview:

As an Analytics Associate - Logistics Operations  you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and streamlining our logistical processes through data-driven insights and analysis. You'll be working closely with our Head of Logistics to leverage data to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of our logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an analytics framework focusing on operational and financial compliance within the logistics portfolio to streamline operational processes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards to visualize and track key metrics for each partnership.
• Prepare feasibility for onboarding any new potential partners.
• Communicate effectively with both 3PL partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Conduct regular risk and compliance analysis to identify and mitigate potential issues or rectify the existing issues.
• Identify and lead the product level initiatives that can help enhance the customer experience and success rates.

Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
• Preferably 2+ years’ experience in analytics and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Power BI
• High level of independence, self-confidence and responsibility
• Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Able to work cohesively, detail-oriented, organized with the ability to multitask
• A meticulous problem solver
