Job Description
A day in your life with us:
- A genuine passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to promoting people & planet.
- Research or review regulatory, technical, or market issues related to sustainable practices.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in driving sustainability programs forward.
- Monitor or track sustainability indicators, such as energy usage, natural resource usage, waste generation, and recycling.
- Act as an advocate for sustainability, raising awareness and promoting sustainable practices both internally and externally.
- Write project proposals to secure funding for sustainability projects
- Provide technical or administrative support for sustainability programs or issues.
- Identify or procure needed resources to implement sustainability programs or projects.
- Create or maintain plans or other documents related to sustainability projects.
- Develop reports or presentations to communicate the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in the Sustainability field.
- Track record of Developing sustainability project goals, objectives, initiatives, or strategies
- Experience working successfully within a matrixed organization.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team or teams, working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience to engage in community outreach and education programs related to sustainability.
- Would be beneficial if the candidate is fluent in Arabic
- Ability to collaborate with different departments, suppliers, and community stakeholders to drive sustainability goals.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders at various organizational levels.
