 Job Responsibilities


  • The candidate is expected to work in a highly dynamic and technical environment with relentless focus on delivering excellence to Juniper customers.
  • Lead key customer escalations within team towards resolution and own stake holder communication on critical / hot escalations.
  • Understand Customer’s impact, prioritise, own and effectively communicate among various stakeholders.
  • Closely engage with escalations team and Product teams to drive customer reported escalations towards closures.
  • Knowledge Creation, Quality / Continuous improvement initiatives and Training / Mentoring activities.
  • Be a Team player, flexible to work on Weekends/Holidays as per the Business requirement.

Mandatory Skills:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and customer handling skills.
  • Ability to logically troubleshoot complex and high impact problems
  • Self-learner with appetite for continuous development.
  • Candidate should have very strong fundamental "core" networking skills, with thorough knowledge and troubleshooting of TCP/IP Protocol suite
  • In-depth knowledge of IPSec VPN(Virtual Private Networks)
  • Proven knowledge of NGFW, SSL Inspection, Web filtering and other security technologies.
  • BGP, OSPF, RIP understanding would be an added advantage.
  • Virtualisation, Cloud and Scripting skills(Python, Perl, Shell scripting etc..) would be considered as added advantage.

Preferred Work Experience


  • Technical Support experience supporting Security related products like Commercial Firewall’s, IPS/IDS, Unified Threat Management Systems (UTMs) like URL Filtering, AV, Anti-Spam.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in complex networks involving Switching/Routing/Security/Cloud technologies
  • Experience in working with Product Development/Engineering team to resolve customer reported issues.

Educational Qualification


  • Engineering Graduates with 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Certification on Cloud and Security domain  is preferred.
  • JNCIA-MistAI, JNCIP-Security, CCIE-Security and other Juniper certifications are added plus.
