Product Manager - Cloud Platform


Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and evolution of our cloud platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies, multi-tenant architectures, scalability, cost optimization, and platform management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define the product vision, prioritize features, and drive the roadmap to deliver a world-class cloud platform that meets the needs of our customers and supports our business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


Product Strategy and Vision:


  • Develop a clear product strategy and vision for our cloud platform, aligned with the company's goals and market trends.
  • Define the product roadmap and prioritize features based on customer needs, competitive analysis, and business priorities.
  • Continuously evaluate market dynamics, emerging technologies, and customer feedback to refine and adjust the product strategy as needed.

Feature Definition and Prioritization:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define features that enhance the functionality, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of the cloud platform.
  • Prioritize features and initiatives based on strategic value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and time to market.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Partner with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support teams to drive the successful development and launch of new platform features and enhancements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on the product roadmap, status, and key milestones.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:


  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the cloud platform space.
  • Monitor competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and customer feedback to inform product decisions and differentiate our platform in the market.

Customer Focus and Feedback:


  • Engage with customers through interviews, surveys, and feedback sessions to understand their needs, pain points, and use cases.
  • Advocate for customer-centric design principles and ensure that product decisions are driven by customer insights and feedback.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the cloud computing or SaaS industry.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, multi-tenant architectures, scalability, cost optimization, and platform management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving business growth.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools and techniques for measuring and optimizing product performance.
  • Experience with A/B testing, user segmentation, and other product experimentation methods.
  • Certification in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing Certified).
