Job Description - Product Manager
Airbus Innovation Center - India & South Asia will be responsible for industrializing disruptive technologies by tapping into the strong engineering competencies center while also leveraging and co-creating with the vibrant external ecosystems such as mature startups/MSMEs, national labs & universities and strategic partnerships (customers, suppliers etc.).
The technology focus areas that the Innovation Center will focus on are - decarbonization technologies, artificial intelligence, industrial automation, unmanned air systems, Connectivity, Space Tech, Autonomy etc. among others.
The Product Manager in the Airbus Innovation Centre responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product life cycle, including - gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, value and impact mapping, while working closely with the various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of product goals. The product manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Your main responsibilities
Taking overall responsibility for the success of your product
Owning product strategy, vision, road map, and GTM
Establishing communication and governance protocol with stakeholders, including product developers, sponsors, end users, tech partners, potential users etc.
Requirements management and market research tuned towards the product development
Vendor management and performance tracking and communication
Collecting analyzing and responding to user feedback
Managing budgets effectively
Gathering and evaluating ideas and opinions
Version control and release planning new features and changes to a product along with creating and overseeing development and project management processes
Demonstrating new ideas and features to stakeholders
Attending conferences and events related to a product or sector
Implementing or supporting marketing campaigns
Inspiring and enthusing colleagues and users of the product
Learning about users and a product's market
Researching competitors and similar products
Qualifications
Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams
Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies
Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
● 8+ Years of work experience in technology and business development
● Experience in product management roles
● English: Business proficiency level written and spoken
● Any additional languages could be an added advantage
