Job Description
This position is for the direct(fresh) sales role. This is a key role for the company as this team is charged with getting new clients to SecureNow. Fresh team sales persons may focus on select industry segments or products or may have a geographic focus. The person will have deep knowledge of commercial insurances such as property, marine and liability & employee benefit insurances. The person has the primary responsibility of building and maintaining a relationship with clients. Once a new client is acquired, the person has to support the transition,over a one year period, to the retention team.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY:
1) Actively manage the insurance sales process: lead generation, credentials pitch,
consultative questioning, solutions pitch, negotiations, and closing Lead and be
accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any other documentation
following company procedures.
2) Create compelling profit objectives and maximize cross-selling opportunities by
keeping up-to- date with the new product developments and enhancements. This
includes conducting revenue analysis of current business partners, of the channel.
3) Develop overall BD strategic action plans to ensure achievement of revenue
targets including market intelligence, business segmentation, competitor analysis
and customizing our value.
4) Work with underwriters to design and negotiate products relevant to the
customer. Leverage prevailing best practices to deliver optimal solution for the
Client.
5) Map potential prospects in allocated geographies. Estimate profit pool for each
sub-segment and develop a tailored outreach strategy and nuanced proposition for
specific customer segments.Work with servicing team to develop and deliver client
engagement plan. Identify prevalent value added services for each LOBs and
ensure smooth delivery
6) Report achievement vis-a-vis plan on periodic basis to management team.

RequirementsCANDIDATE BACKGROUND:
Commercial insurance experience, e.g. in group health, property and
liability, is very useful
B2B sales experience is a must
The candidate may have worked with a insurance broker or with the
direct selling side of insurers.
Strong drive to handle clients and teams in an independent way.
