Lead Credit Risk - Vice President

Job responsibilities.

• Lead, motivate, challenge and support your team to deliver effective credit underwriting and monitoring of the investment portfolio. Drive team performance, accountability, mentor and develop junior talent within the team.
• Collaborate and deliver together with team leads in New York and London.
• Responsible for ongoing supervision and management of CIO’s portfolio of securitized and non-securitized investment across regions and asset-type.
• Perform in-depth credit analysis of fixed income investments, including country risk assessment, industry analysis, business analysis, financial analysis and peer comparison.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

• Engage with various internal stakeholders including senior management and portfolio managers to apprise them of portfolio performance, risk trends and relevant escalations.
• Engage with regulators on frequent basis to discuss credit trends, portfolio performance and any other relevant items on agenda.
• Lead stress testing and credit reserve estimation process including its planning, execution and presentation of results to senior management. 
• Participate in the development and maintenance of various credit loss models related to CCAR stress testing as well as CECL reserve projections.
• Proactively identify evolving thematic risks and undertake asset class specific deep dives to gauge the impact on TCIO’s portfolio.
• Lead bi-weekly meetings with the Portfolio Managers to discuss investment strategy, market trends and portfolio performance.
• Ensure efficient and timely delivery for team’s BAU deliverables to various internal and external stakeholders.
