Job Description
Position Purpose
The IAM Lead is responsible for the planning, building, delivery, and support of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) program for both Brambles enterprise users and customer facing services. This encompasses a wide range of current systems and solutions managed by disparate teams, against various standards and approaches in which this leader will work to consolidate, update, and ensure best practices and standards are introduced and/or reinforced to drive the reduction in risk and improved operational excellence against these critical applications and processes for company operations. This is an exciting role in which the leader will directly shape the future of IAM capabilities, establishing the foundation for which the company with operate from for Identity and Access Management in the future! The leader will providetechnical insight, architectural vision, executional delivery and leadership buy in for the direction and guidance to the development, specifications, and communications of IAM applications and architecture, as well as provide in-depth technical consultation to the business units and IT management through assisting in the development of plans and integration of information security requirements. TheIAM Lead will drive initiatives to transform IAM provisioning and lifecycle management, leveraging self-service and automation capabilities to enable a frictionless user experience. The Leadmust be knowledgeable of Information Security best practices and regulatory and compliance requirements that impact security for the enterprise. This includes HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, HITRUST, and other relevant privacy and security frameworks.
The leader will drive a unified IAM approach and maintain an integrated program for role-based access control, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, account federation, identity lifecycle, birthright access, access certifications and group management. The leader works in partnership with TS, business leaders, EA, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the IAM strategy aligns with the needs of the business and growth strategies. Furthermore, the leader with build and seek cross functional, cross regional, and Executive buy in for program support, funding, and prioritization. This includes the ability to manage the business case required to gain stakeholder support, and the ongoing ability to lead stakeholders through the lifecycle of design to delivery for program execution. This role is particularly challenging in that the leader will need to possess the technical mastery needed to architect and design the future platforms for IAM, as well as provide leadership and coaching to teams to manage the day to day operations and escalations, but also the ability to speak to all levels of leadership and constituents, and partner well with other functions, regional teams, business partners, and customer teams in leading the transformation. This individual will need to be comfortable with defining and leading change, managing conflict, and winning hearts and minds across a broad range of a very large user population that include earlyadopters to those that struggle with the important changes that are required in this space.
In particular, this role will take the lead on the IAM portfolio for customer facing systems and applications, ensuring that distinct, appropriate IAM strategies and controls are designed and deployed, including federation with customer systems where appropriate, in consultation with Brambles’ other customer facing areas.
In addition, this leader will be responsible for the evergreen state of the technology stack, ensuring any legacy design or technical debt is properly lifecycled and refreshed, accordingly.
In addition, this role will be responsible forleading broader IAM programs, such as PKI and certificate management, encryption, Privileged Access Management, IDAM, and CASB for the enterprise.
This role is an exciting opportunity to define the strategy and future state architecture for the company, and as well lead the execution of multiple transformation programs in the IAM space that are key priorities for the company.
