About Presales:


The Best Practices Center (BPC) oversees the development and sharing of resources, best practices, and information designed to help AVEVA Sales and Presales teams sell AVEVA solutions to customers. This position is for a Designer within the BPC. This team’s mission is to design, implement, and maintain innovative, sustainable, cost-effective, and easy-to-use content and solutions that accelerate sales and provide a world-class customer experience.


About the role:


The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and improving PowerPoint presentation designs, email templates, documents, and internal websites. He/she will work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design appropriate graphics and layouts.


Responsibilities:


·Confer with the team to discuss and determine required graphics and layouts based on business requirements.


·Become an expert in AVEVA branding guidelines and leverage these standards to produce innovative work promoting our AVEVA brand with our employees and customers.


·Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of design principles and aesthetic design concepts.


·Create customer-facing deliverables and templates that will help promote AVEVA and foster customer engagement throughout the sales cycle.


·Find the most effective way to get messages across in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, and various print and layout techniques.


·Use HTML, CSS, and web design principles to create web pages within our internal portals.


·Use Adobe Creative Cloud software to create new and enhance existing graphics that will be used in documents, presentations, and websites.


·Leverage knowledge of PowerPoint to design compelling executive and customer-facing presentations.


·Keep abreast of graphic and web design developments and leverage the latest techniques to create modern and compelling designs.


·Work well in a team, including Leadership, Instructional Designers, Reporting Analysts, Best Practices Center Leads, etc.


·Work on more than one project at a time and proactively communicate project updates to leadership and stakeholders.


·Ability to perform under tight deadlines and schedules.


·Proofread to produce accurate and high-quality work.


·Attention to detail will be essential for this role.


Skills and Qualifications:


·Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or related field.


·4 – 6 years of experience in a Designer role with hands-on experience creating graphics, PowerPoint presentations, print documents, icons, infographics, newsletters, and websites.


·Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.


·Expert knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.


·Excellent fluency in the English language, both written and verbal communications.


·Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.


·Creative and able to communicate ideas visually, verbally, and in writing.


·Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS for coding web pages.


·Experience designing webpages within SAVO and experience using SharePoint and Office 365 software is an advantage.


·Ability to keep up with the latest graphic and web design techniques and software.
