Responsibilities -

• Review & processing of Application Requests.

• Following standard techniques and procedures, select / apply standard or special products to meet customers' needs.

• Liaising with Global Engineering Product Groups and other key stakeholders to provide ‘Right first time’ sealing solutions to customer requirement.

• Generation of engineering proposals / specifications for standard or special products, including determining costeffective materials for production.

• Basic Seal calculations (including leakage calculations, heat generation, balance temperature, flow rates etc.)

• Basic use of CSTEDY & similar tools for simple design analysis.

• Basic field troubleshooting, including analysis of problems / recommendation & implementation of appropriate solutions - typically working with more experienced engineering / service colleagues.

• Basic failure analysis activities, including investigation / reporting / resolution.

• Provide basic applications guidance to CAD Engineers to complete layout (GA) and detail drawings.

• Basic technical presentations to customers in order to support sales.

• Manage and report personal workload, forecast own job lead-times to meet customer and departmental objectives.

• Raise / process Engineering Change Notice (ECN) requests as required.

• 100% Compliance to processes & procedures laid down by organization.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and implement important initiatives.

• Contribute to safety measures and company policies.

• Good communication skills.

• Quick Learner with sound technical and analytical skills.

• Good in understanding and reading drawing capabilities.

• Liaise with respective Stake holder and drawing offices.

• Support safe workplace cultures and compliance with Smiths EH&S

Skills & Experience - 

• Experience: 1-2 Years Technical Skills:

• Good Knowledge of API 682 & 610 Reading drawing capabilities Technical background. People Skills: Good Collaborator

• Work in General Shift.

• Able to establish work life balance without impacting objectives.

• Learn the product and plan self-workload & activities
