Job Description
  • Facilitate in establishing Safety and Health requirements at the workplace which includes Office, and Site Operations
  • Ensure implementation of the EHS Management system/Harsco’s Global EHS Framework guidelines.
  • Ensure the Safety goals of Harsco organization are met.
  • Guide HSE policy, performance standards, and criteria in consultation with management
  • Monitor and report EHS performance
  • Develop, implement, and support HSE improvement strategies
  • Provide professional support and expert advice in relevant areas
  • Conduct/arrange EHS educational, training, and support programs
  • Conduct EHS inspections/Audit and report to Management.
  • Identify, analyze, and report potential HSE difficulties to management
  • Maintain an excellent information resource in EHS and produce effective statistical information
  • EHS performance reporting - internal and external
  • Ensure incident reporting and investigation of incidents 
  • Conduct Risk Assessment for activities undertaken at site.
  • Monitor compliance of EHS legal requirements and advise management.
  • Advise on and plan for changes to legislation and external standards
  • Organize EHS promotional activities to promote EHS culture.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:


  • Bachelor of Engineering preferred. A 3-year degree in Science may be considered
  • Full-time 1-year Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety from Govt of India Recognized Institute,
  • NEBOSH IGC
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 & 4500

Experience:


  • 8-12 years in an Industrial Safety role
  • Preferred direct experience in Track machines and railway-related operations.
  • Preferred experience working with MNC contractors in track machine and construction-related fields.

Travel:


  • Requires up to 50% of time traveling to sites.
