We have an opportunity with one of our reputed client in India for the position of “Civil Lead III”

Position: Civil Lead III
Location: Bangalore, India
Experience: 10+ Years
Duration: 1 year project

Job scope:
- Provide civil/structural engineering expertise to a variety of projects and operating/manufacturing sites worldwide.
- Sustain Client culture of safety and support compliance with established safety management systems.
- Provide technical support throughout the development phase of projects from conceptual to final design/execution.
- Provide technical support to Upstream and Downstream operating/manufacturing sites.
- Assure quality control of contractor work throughout project execution.
- Assist facilities with risk management activities.
- Primarily to review engineering design documents produced by other Contractors to ensure constructability, fit-for-risk design and compliance with Client practices. 

Onshore
1. Structural Design and Analysis of concrete and steel structures, including plant buildings
2. Structural Inspection, Rehabilitation and Upgrading
3. Blast Resistant Design
4. Earthquake analysis
5. Foundations and pilings for equipment, structures and tanks.
6. Dynamic analysis of rotating equipment foundations and structures.
7. Site selection and preparation, including: earthworks, paving and roadways, drainage systems
8. Sewer/Drainage Design
 
Offshore
9. Structural Design and Analysis of fixed and floating offshore structures including - Concrete Gravity Based, Steel Jacket Platforms, Jack-up Rigs, Floating Production Storage and Offloading Unit (FPSOs), Semi-Submersibles. 
10. Fatigue analysis of offshore structures
11. Finite element modeling
12. Structural Inspection, Rehab and upgrading
13. Application of metocean design criteria (wind and wave)
14. Seismic analysis
15. Offshore structural Foundations and pilings
 
Candidate expectation:
1. Masters or Post-Graduate degree in Civil/Structural engineering
2. Minimum 10 years of industry experience
3. Strong technical & analytical skills
4. Experience in evaluation of existing structures
5. Experience with fixed and floating offshore structures
6. Management of engineering design
7. Ability to evaluate different conceptual designs
8. Familiarity with structural analysis and design software (SACS, STAAD Pro, etc.)
9. Demonstrated teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential
