About this team:


Front Arena is an industrial strength, web-enabled, highly scalable middle and back office, settlement and accounting system supporting organizations in the Capital Markets sector.  The Front Arena team within the Capital Market Business line administer the Front Arena’s production systems and are responsible for ensuring that these systems are always available. The successful candidate will work within a Global Team to ensure Production Environments Availability and Compliance across all Environments, Also define monitors and alerts across platforms and insure regular tuning and review. Additionally, the candidate will manage application releases into all Production Environments according to the Change Management process


What you will be doing:


  • Provides technical support activities for a software production processing environment.
  • Installs, maintains and supports application/source code and/or its components and subsystems including third party software.
  • Detects, diagnoses and reports related problems.
  • Analyzes and resolves incidents, problems or known errors related to failures in application and supporting software components.
  • Provides technical assistance to programming staff in the analysis of application software amends, performance and resource consumption.
  • Creates and maintains complete documentation relative to the support of application software.
  • Provides twenty-four hour support for applications and supporting software. Provides consultation to internal users with regard to software capabilities and use. Follows escalation procedures, when appropriate, to resolve incidents, problems or known errors in a timely manner

What you bring:


  • Should have 6 to 10 years of experience on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and Citrix Application Support.
  • Good experience in Windows Servers, Active Directory, Scheduling Jobs, windows Registry setting. Experience in ITIL Process eg problem management, change management, incident Management.
  • Provide technical support for issues related to clients hosted environments for FIS CATR.
  • Ability to Automate repetitive tasks using script e.g. PowerShell script, Perl scripting
  • Deploy product upgrades/Patches on the clients Production environment.
  • Coordination between different teams during a production incident / Client On-Boarding.Design procedures for implementation, system troubleshooting and maintenance. Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks, issues resolution scripting.
  • Work on APAC/EMEA/US shifts and require weekend availability for frequent changes on the system.

Added bonus if you have:


  • Financial markets knowledge
  • Experience of multi-server distributed systems
  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
  • Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
  • Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
