Job Description

As an experienced Business Process Manager you will get the opportunity to be a part of the Global Process Excellence Team of Sanofi Business Operations. You will evaluate and document our current business processes with internal stakeholders (e.g. to Launch to Engage, Research and Develop, Purchase to Pay, Accounts to Report, Customer invoice to Cash, Contracting and Human Resources), as well as identifying and recommending improvement opportunities with best in class technologies like Process Mining and visualization tools.


To ensure success, you should be able to make a deep dive into a process, master business process management or have experience in a similar role. Also excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders is a strong requirement.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible to translate Business Process expertise into the realization of our business's long-term objectives across all Sanofi Business Service.


The following key activities will be performed by this role:


  • Act as a central point of knowledge for Signavio Tool and BPMN 2.0 methodology
  • Educating business users responsible for managing and operating business processes
  • Contribute to Project execution and Transition Projects as well as support of ad hoc requests
  • Analyzing and monitoring implemented changes to business processes
  • Determining and outlining business process improvements.
  • Performing analyses on business processes related to productivity, quality, costs, and time management.
  • Facilitating Business Process workshops to collaborate on process improvements
  • Coordinating business process improvement strategies with internal stakeholders.
  • Presenting progress reports and integrating feedback
  • Reporting status of ongoing initiatives to Key Stakeholders
  • Work in an agile and self-organized multi country team
Expected Skills
  • Systems :
    • Process Analytics:
      • Business process modelling notations (BPMN, EPC, BPEL),
      • Analytical experience in Process Mining tools (Celonis, QPR, e.t.c.)
      • Experience with Process modelling and collaboration tools
      • Knowledge of transactional / back office systems or reporting systems (SAP, Workday, eBuy/ Coupa, …)
    • Business Systems:
      • Knowledge of transactional / back office systems or reporting systems (SAP, Workday, eBuy/ Coupa, …)
  • Processes:
    • Process assessment, modeling, and harmonization tools and techniques (e.g. Lean. 6Sigma)
    • Strong analytical skills
  • Project management:
    • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (PM Methodology, Agile / Scrum)
  • Requirements gathering skills, able to understand analyze and visualize Processes and data.
  • Strong delivery orientation - converting strategy and “plans into action” to realize sustainable business value
  • Transversal mindset and ability to work across processes, geographies, languages, cultures and business maturity levels
  • Ability to work in an agile organization
  • Good presentation skills with the ability to present non-technical details to a technical

Audience and vice versa


  • Good written English skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation 
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
Background and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, project management, or in a related field.
  • A Master's degree in business administration will be advantageous.
  • At least three years' experience in business process management in a related industry.
  • Proficiency in business management software, such as Signavio
  • Excellent recordkeeping, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of working in a Global Business Services environment
  • Team player - complex projects require a strong team
