Position Summary

Senior IT Ops Engineer responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, monitoring system performance, and configuring new software and hardware. To be successful, you should have a strong foundation in Apple macOS and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 technical support to end users via phone, email, and chat
• Configure internal systems.
• Onboarding & Offboarding employees and contractors.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Assisting Sys admins in resolving their daily challenges.
• Upgrade network devices to the latest framware.
• Train new system users and set up their accounts
• Monitor the performance of servers, software, and hardware
• Ensure the smooth deployment of new applications
• Update technical documentation
• Participate in projects to improve the helpdesk's efficiency and effectiveness
• Dealing with our suppliers.

 

 

 

Desired Qualifications

·       BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus.

·       Fluent in Engliish·       Solid experience in Apple MDM solutions with at least 5 years of experience (eg. Desktop central, Jamf, Intunes..etc).

·       Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Senior IT Engineer.

·       Good knowledge of at least one scripting language.

·       Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks.

·       Knowledge of system security techniques.

·       In-depth knowledge of Google Workspace, Fortigate, Crowdstrike, & VC Systems.

·       Good problem-solving and communication skills
