IT Projects Manager

Job Description: 

The IT Projects Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of an IT and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and business acumen to successfully align IT strategies with the organization's overall digital transformation goals.

Responsibilities:

• Implement IT and digital transformation strategies that align with the organization's overall objectives and vision.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and prioritize IT/digital transformation initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with business needs.
• Manage and supervise a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support throughout the digital transformation journey.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
• Oversee the implementation of IT/digital technologies, such as cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation, to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experience.
• Develop and implement robust data governance and cybersecurity measures to ensure the security and integrity of digital assets.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of IT/digital transformation projects, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in digital technology and propose innovative solutions that can drive the organization's digital transformation agenda.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners to leverage their expertise and resources in implementing IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management regarding the status, challenges, and achievements of IT/digital transformation projects.

Requirements:

• bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in project management or digital transformation are strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in managing digital transformation initiatives in a complex organizational environment.
• Strong understanding of digital technologies, such as cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation, and their practical application in driving business transformation.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Solid understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance requirements.
