Systems Engineer

Summary of Position

As an Engineering Systems Engineer at Aptiv, you’ll be helping to shape the future of sustainable mobility by creating and maintaining our Global Shared Data systems that codify the digital twin of our products, ensuring that complex vehicle designs can be simulated from concept to build, and that engineering decisions improve environmental impact. To do this, you’ll need to….

• Meet with global customers to define requirements.
• Evaluate alternatives and create technical programming specifications.
• Determine Impact Analysis of existing systems – including identifying the system data sources and targets.
• Understand Relational database design.
• Follow a development life cycle for new projects and enhancements.
• Create and implement necessary code – including executing complex technical programming specifications.

Required Skills

• Siemens Capital
• PL/SQL
• Knowledge of Relational Database Concepts
• Knowledge of Code Documentation and Best Practices

Additional Preferred Skills

• Toad for Oracle
• Oracle Form Builder
• Experience in the Automotive Industry
• SharePoint
• Java
• AutoCAD
