The Opportunity


The Adobe Experience Manager Guides team is looking for a Solution Consultant to join our pre-sales team supporting the North American sales team.


As a Solution Consultant, your primary responsibility is establishing long-term relationships with clients and building trust.


Our clients are some of the most innovative companies in the world.


You will work with our sales, solutions architecture, and customer success teams to deliver the best possible solutions to our clients.


To excel in this role, you should have a mix of technical and functional expertise, with a keen eye for delivering compelling presentations and demos.


This position offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth, as you will engage with customers from marketing and IT departments at all levels, sharpening your skills and expanding your knowledge.


What you will do


  • Identify customer needs and objectives by closely examining their current business processes and content workflow.


  • Actively drive and lead the technology evaluation part of the sales lifecycle, working with the sales team as the key technical advocate for our solutions by pointing out the value of Adobe Experience Manager Guides or Adobe Learning Manager


  • Optimally demonstrate Adobe Experience Manager Guides or Adobe Learning Manager within the context of the Adobe Experience Cloud.


  • Articulate technology and product positioning for business and technical users and creatively manage objections using documentation, presentations, and demonstrations.


  • Establishes and maintains strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.


  • Provide strong defense against competing products and object handle questions fielded by the competition in a sales opportunity.


  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.


What you need to succeed


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.


  • 5+ years of experience in presales or consulting for an enterprise SaaS platform organization.


  • Excellent customer-facing skills with experience addressing and achieving agreement from senior executives.


  • Strong experience in software demonstration and value-selling


  • Hands-on experience with various enterprise-grade CMS and digital experience solutions, including Adobe Experience Manager or other competitive solutions, and web personalization solutions.


  • Previous experience working with Adobe Experience Manager or similar web content management platforms.


  • Expertise in building and presenting use cases and value propositions.


  • Ability to identify critical business issues that customers face and provide solutions.


  • Must be a self-starter and comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative environment with high levels of collaboration and teamwork.
