Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Content Creator to join our team. As the face of our brand digitally, you will be responsible for developing engaging content tailored specifically for Gen Z audiences across various social media platforms, with a primary focus on TikTok. Your creativity, trend-savviness, and understanding of digital and PR activations will be crucial in shaping our brand's online presence and fostering meaningful connections with our audience.
This individual will not only be responsible for producing captivating content but will also serve as the digital face of our brand. With a background in photography and a passion for being on camera, you will bring a unique perspective to our content strategy while supporting digital and PR activations and managing sub-brand accounts and pages.
Responsibilities:
TikTok Content Creation: Develop and produce creative and trendsetting TikTok videos that resonate with our target audience. Utilize your photography background to capture visually appealing content that showcases our brand in an authentic and engaging manner.
Gen Z Targeted Content Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, memes, challenges, and cultural moments relevant to Gen Z demographics. Leverage this knowledge to create innovative and viral-worthy content that captures the attention of our audience.
Digital and PR Activations: Collaborate with our PR team to develop and execute digital and PR activations, including campaigns, events, and partnerships. Ensure that social media content aligns with broader marketing and PR strategies.
Brand Representation: Serve as the digital face of our brand, embodying our brand identity and values in all content creation efforts. Engage authentically with our audience, fostering a sense of community and loyalty.
Sub-brand Management: Manage and oversee the social media accounts and pages of any sub-brands or affiliated entities. Maintain consistency in branding and messaging across all platforms.
Analytics and Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of social media content using relevant analytics tools. Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, adjusting content strategies accordingly.
Community Engagement: Proactively engage with our audience across social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Foster positive relationships and drive engagement.
On-camera Presence: Utilize your comfort and proficiency in front of the camera to create engaging video content, including vlogs, behind-the-scenes footage, and live streams. Bring your unique personality and perspective to enhance our brand's online presence.
Photography Skills: Apply your photography background to create visually stunning imagery for social media posts, stories, and promotional materials. Ensure high-quality content that resonates with our audience and reflects our brand aesthetic.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator, with a strong focus on TikTok content creation.
In-depth understanding of TikTok trends, culture, and best practices.
Excellent video editing skills, with proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, while also being able to take initiative and work independently.
Prior experience in digital marketing, PR, or related fields is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
